The Clarke County South Central Iowa Community Foundation grant deadline is approaching. To be considered for a grant, applications must be postmarked by April 15th. Clarke County has $20,000 in grant funds available for charitable projects & non- profit organizations serving Clarke County.
To be considered for a grant, organizations must be tax-exempt, non-profit entities classified by the IRS as a 501(c) (3) organization or a government body (school, city, county). Application forms may be obtained at the Foundation’s website www.scicf.org under the Clarke County tab or by contacting Stacy at the Foundation office at 705 Ilion Ave. in Chariton, 641-217-9105. Grants are awarded in a competitive grant process to those organizations that score on four funding priorities; positive impact to Clarke County, permanency of the project, the number of people impacted by the project and the amount of community support the project has, including other financial support.
